Arathusa Safari Lodge is located in Mpumalanga, South Africa, within the northern sector of the coveted Sabi Sand Reserve, adjacent to the world-renowned Kruger National Park. This region has a long and reputable history within the South African tourism industry due to the presence of incredible concentrations of wildlife, which is accessible via high quality private game safaris.
While on safari, visitors can expect to see a large variety of wildlife – including the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant).
*Please note the seasonal waterhole in front of Arathusa’s main lodge is a natural feature, its volume of water is dependent on rainfall. The northern Sabi Sand Game Reserve is in the grips of the worst drought since 1983 and as such, water levels have dropped significantly.
We are hopeful that we will be blessed with rains over the coming season, and that we can soon enjoy healthy water levels again.
The plains in front of the lodge continue to attract a variety of wildlife, and the safari experience while out on drive remains uncompromised.
