Winter is starting to settle in, and the Styx lion pride has been hanging around the lodge. This morning Rein drove out from reception to find one on the male lions walking the perimeter of the lodge, with the rest of the pride not far off in the drainage line.
The cubs are getting bigger and more playful, which seems to inspire the rest of the pride to take part in some playtime themselves.
They have been eating well and have managed to bring down a buffalo and a zebra over the last two weeks. As a result, they are all looking fit and healthy.
Until next time,
